# Getting Connected (FTM)

Getting Connected (Fantom)

This guide will assist you in connecting to the Fantom networking order to use Defi Apps.

Open MetaMask and click on the current network (default it's Ethereum Mainnet).

Click Custom RPC

Fill in the following settings and click Save:

1. 1\.

   **Network Name**: Fantom Opera
2. 2\.

   **RPC Url**: <https://rpc.ftm.tools/>​
3. 3\.

   **ChainID**: `250`
4. 4\.

   **Symbol**: FTM
5. 5\.

   **Block Explorer URL**: <https://ftmscan.com/>​
